Podsumowanie 2021 roku (podsumowanie ukazało się w styczniu 2023 r. po restarcie strony Alternativepop.pl)
Podsumowanie roku minionego w grudniu 2022 r... No tak, życie płynie czasami za szybko i ciężko za nim nadążyć. Tym razem dosyć eksperymentalnie zrobiłem dwie listy. Pierwsza obejmuje wykonawców z kręgu stylistyki mi najbliższej - czyli tych z szeroko rozumianego synth popu, nowej fali, postpunka i ich kontynuatorów oraz następców. W tym przypadku udało mi się ułożyć top60 takich płyt. Druga lista to grupa artystów wykonujących muzykę klasycznie rockową, bluesową, hard rockową i pop. Tutaj ułożyłem top30 tego rodzaju wydawnictw. Jak był rok 2021? Przede wszystkim naznaczony pandemią Covid-19 i wszystkimi następstwami z tym związanymi - brakiem koncertów, szaleństwem lockdownów, ale też śmiercią wielu osób, które w wyniku zakażania zmarły. Czyli był to rok mało muzyczny. Jednak płyt trochę się ukazało. Muzycy zamknięci w domach już od 2020 roku mieli czas, żeby stworzyć coś nowego. W efekcie otrzymaliśmy sporo wydawnictw, ale może ze względu na pandemię nie potrafiłem cieszyć się nimi jak zwykle.
